Best Sunday Roast I have had for a long time. Not only was the food first class our host, Rachel couldn't do enough for us and the children. Really great day. A big thanks to the whole team. Always a warm welcome mid week lunch is awesome too.

Booked for Sunday dinner yesterday for 6 people, arrived earlier than we thought, Raqi and staff were very friendly ,attentive and nothing was too much trouble . Dinner was excellent would highly recommend Kid-friendliness: Staff brilliant with the grandchildren

Always a nice visit, owner a passionate footy fan so there is always a great atmosphere on match day. Really nice food too, and a good kids play area out back.

Food is nice, woman that works there seems very stressed, came in at 1.15 for lunch there were only 2 other tables there and she seemed very unhappy that we were there stating the pub shuts at 2.30, although hours online say 3, turned away a separate time for lunch at the same time as there were 3 tables there

Had a great Sunday lunch, four stars only because the lamb was slightly overdone and the staff forgot us a couple of times. But it was rammed busy and our table was booked at 3pm.

We stopped off at this pub on a long drive from London to Newark/Coddington, as this was the perfect half way point. It was a very quiet pub with lots of seating and a good menu. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. Really generous portions and tasty too. Would highly recommend it.

I took my colleagues to the bell for Sunday lunch and I can say it did not disappoint! We were all left in awe at the portion size and that we had a choice of meats, along with this there was great service, a lovely atmosphere and a really reasonable price for such good food! Plus the puddings were definitely worth trying. We will definitely be back, Thank you Rachael & team x
